Hatchet may have had the most interesting response yet. Snails to kill snails, if they look good then i might just have to ask around.

They look neat IMO.

I read they are slower to reproduce than other snails, and can eat a snail a day.

Those Pesky Snails!

SNAIL WERE JUST OUT OF CONTROL!~I JUST EMPTIED OUT A 29 GAL. AND TRANSFERRED FISH TO A NEW TANK...STARTED FROM SCRATCH...NEW GRAVEL...USED 75% OF WATER FROM FORMER TANK AND DIPPED PLANTS IN A MILD BLEACH DIP (AND REALLY RINSED 'EM!)...ANYWAY...I HAD A 10 GAL. TANK WITH A SNAIL PROBLEM THAT WOULD SOON BE OUT OF CONTROL AND LFS TOLD ME TO TRY A COUPLE GOLDFISH...SNAILS GONE IN 4-5 HOURS! GONE! GONE! NOW I HAVE A TEN GALLON TANK WITH TOO MANY GOLDFISH IN IT. GOTTA FILL UP THAT 29 GALLON AND GET IT GOING FOR A COUPLE OF GOLDFISH! WHAT WAS I THINKING?

Iv not heard of a cory eating snails, unless I smash them againist the glass and the corys eat them then but not any other way, im wanting to get something too for my snails in my tank here is what i had been doing I cut a slice of cucumber and tied it and a small very small pot to it with some string and droped in into the tank and turned out the lights for a few hours and came back and the cucumber was covered in them i just pull them up and shake them off in a plastic container with water and got fishing for some more i save the snails for a snack for the fish and cory i smash them up i like to shake off the broken shell parts of the snails after smashing them i dont like all the smashed shell pieces in my tank and the fish might eat it and get choked, hope this may help a lil

I really dont like the idea of having to keep dropping food in the tank for the snails. The pearls get stressed really easily or the smallest things.(like when two of my plants uprooted they didnt eat for like three days. Ill try if I have to but otherwise I'll avoid the process as it seems necessary.
