On the snail front: Nerites are brilliant! Small, can't overpopulate your tank, the best algae eating snails out there and very decorative.

IF you want a Bristlenose pleco for the 10 gal, get a small albino. They seem to grow slowly and stay smaller than the regular kind. I have one in a 10 gal, and after nearly 7 months, he's still only 2"!

My other BN is definitely too big for a 10, and considering how much waste he puts out, is becoming too big for my 20 gal.
