A total rehaul

Since we've had to disinfect all the tanks, we've decided re do them. Our friend took the breeding colonies of cobalt and acei & the 33g with 200 acei fry to his house to breed/grow out for us there.
I am keeping the yellow labs and blue haps in a 33g. The Keyholes & Clown pleco got a 20g, 15g BN pleco breeding pair, 3/10g betta and 2/5g betta. I am eventually getting a betta for the empty 5g and one for the 15g. Hoping to get a 60g+ tank soon as we find a second hand one for cheap.
The 120g is going to be slightly planted again. The Angelfish pair, Datnoid, Blue Panque and Blue Phantom plecos are all that is in the tank. We are getting something else...but what?
Here's some pix of how the small tanks are set up. 9 tanks soon to be 10 going again.
Hello MTS.
I will post the 120g pix when I can get a good one. Sunny days make it hard to get a good pix of our 120g.
In a month or so we get to buy new fish. I get to to look for new betta boys. Our lfs has a big variety of them now, Delta, HM, Veil, and CT boys. I took a peak yesterday. LOL

Those are yellow labs, labdiochromis caeruleus a Malawi cichlid species. They are the least aggressive species we've had of 25+ species.

I want to get some Deep water haps, a rare species to find. I can order them from a guy here in Canada. MM You will love them too.

I am getting 6 of them to go to with the 4 yellow labs & blue hap pair eventually. I had a pair when I first got into africans. FishNFry sold me a bunch of great quality bred at home Malawi cichlids including a juvi pair of them. I really didn't want to part with them but we were changing up tanks at that time and I couldn't.
That's our chameleon Radar's cage...we moved it so she could see the whole room.

Oh man! I used to have some Electra (Deep water haps). One of my favorite haps ever. They are all over the place down here, even the LFS! Surprising they are that rare up north. I didn't get to grown them all the way out, went to bootcamp and gave them away...i'll try and dig up some pictures of them!

They are my favorite too. I also love the Red Empresses too, but they get too big for a 33g.
Man I wish they were here in our lfs. They are so easy going even when they breed. My female never held the eggs long enough to get any fry tho. my mistake at the time was having them in an 80g with too many species that were more aggressive than they are. The mbuna scared the eggs out Miss Deep Water hap 3 times before I sold them. I could have gotten $50 for the pair but I ended up selling them in a lot of Malawi cichlids to a guy *who I wish I had of kept his email* on a for sale site.
I have to re post looking for ads everywhere...maybe someone has so out there.

33g with the 4 labs and 2 blue haps...plus an extra male lab, acei and cobalt. They are there until we find them a new home. Our colonies had one too many males.

Had some of those too! My male Red Empress was the talk of the tank, loved him.

That lab tank looks great, love the rocks.
