New fish tank

I now have a 20 gallon fish tank that has gone through its cycle. I have no idea what to put into it. I have a pleco and Betta in there now. But I want to put more and have no idea what to do. Would love to hear peoples ideas.

The tank was not cycled fast, it took the usual amount of time, it just that I have started to put fish in it now. I used old gravel from a older tank, and a old filter to cycle the tank. The fish that are in there now have been in there for about a week and a half, and they are doing wonderful.

ahh ok so established media...thanks!!! wondered how it was done in two weeks there really is NO usual time...my tank took 9 weeks !! god that was rough lol...betta's arent community fish so putting anything with him, might not work...corys have been somewhat sucessful with them but each betta is different..so maybe try some after the pleco is returned ... having a back up plan in case it doesnt work with your boy, is a good thing...

yeah, I have a 6 gallon tank that the betta and pleco came from. They have been in that for about 4 months before I moved them into to 20 gallon. My Betta loves other fish, he has never had a problem with others. I know that they are all different, Im just happy that mine is mellow. So I do have the backup plan already.

Maybe you missed that comment? The pleco is going to outgrow that tank very fast. They can get up to 24 in. although 13 in. is average.
