Hey guys I just got A-Z Tropical fish disease and health problems and I am excited about reading it, but i have a question about things that they mention in the book. What is inter alia? I looked it up and it's a latin phrase that means "among others", but that doesn't make any sense. The sentence is "These include a wide range of adaptations to differing enviormental conditions(temperature, water chemistry and quality, oxygen content, water movement, inter ali).

It means that it includes the things mentioned in perenthesis among other things. In other words the factors mentioned, plus other things that are not mentioned.
