What is a good water temperature for a tank containing Bala sharks, tetras, pictus and ghost shrimp?

I honestly do not know about the pictus however the bala needs temp of 70-80 tetras i think need some where around 72-82 and ghost shrimp need 65-80 you could probably google the pictus and some one will probably give you a second opinion n a few

Are there any benefits in having the temp. at either ends of the spectrum?

Um I really dont know about that i think one of the temps is better to rid algea but that shouldnt be a problem as long as you do your 25% weekly water change or somthing like that
