New Member - 3 tanks
Hi all. I am a new member to this forum. I have been keeping fish for a few years now. I currently have 1 brackish and 2 freshwater tanks running.
So my 3 tanks will consist of:
Tank 1 - 55gallon brackish tank (gravel with many decorations)
1. 2 Mono Fish
2. 2 Green Spotted Puffers
3. Moray Eel
4. Needle Fish
Tank 2 - 55 Gallon Freshwater (no substrate and only wall hanging plastic plant)
1. 2 Bichir (grey, ornate)
2. Discus
8. Teacup Stingray (Reticulated Stingray)
Tank 3 - 29 Gallon Freshwater (gravel with few decorations and many turtle docks)
1. Albino African Claw Frog
2. Tiger Salamander
3. Firebelly Newt
4. Gold Gourami
5. Albino Bichir
6. African Butterfly
Some pics can be seen at www.tabsite.net/fish
***Pics of old single tank. I recently moved apartments and wasn't able to bring all my tanks. I had to put all fish in one tank for a couple days until I got new tanks setup. They are all separated now as described above.***

Hey Im brand new here , sorry if this isnt where Im supposed to post ,lol . I have a 10 gallon freshwater tank with 5 ADF, tank has been great for over a year, but we would like to add some fish for more color, movement etc. What kind of fish would that be that would be safe for the lil darling ADFs ? Thank you !

African Dwarf Frogs right?
Your tank is small, so you can add a few small fish. Up to about 5 inches of small fish. Guppies or neons would be good(long as your frogs aren't big enough to swallow them) any other small size community fish would be fine. A single Beta would also be a nice addition.

Hey this is great . temp is about 75-77 and Ph is at 7.6 ish. I really am not into guppys as the are always preggo and not into doing that. What other small community fish do you think for a 10 gallon ? Thanks again !

You can keep almost any fish with the frogs. Not many fish will pick on the frogs unless they are large / agressive fish. I have kept frogs with gouramis, goldfish, tetras, catfish, discus, newts, bichir.
Other good fish would be loaches, rainbow sharks, rainbow fish, rasboras, swordtails, platies, killfish

Temp is fine and ph maybe a little high but should be just fine.
You should also get a test kit to test for nitrites/nitrates/ammonia/hardness/ph/alkaline.
if your nitrates go over 40 you need to do a 25% water change(water changes of 25% should be done at least 2 times a month, and do them more often if getting high nitrate/nitrite readings)
Nitrites should not go up AT ALL, and should be at .5 or under, preferably 0. In a healthy tank nitrites are converted to the less toxic nitrates. you then do water changes to lower the nitrates when they rise to high.

Looks like a hijacked thread...
Earthling84., Wellcome to fishlore. Hope you enjoy sharing your learning with us. This is a great fishkeeping forum, with a lot of warmth and passion for both fishes and us (keepers).
Nice and interesting stocking you have! Hope you follow Charmaine suggestion and post your pics (we love pics!).
Lisa08: You shouldn't worry about guppy fry, 5 ADF would probably take care of it (if the grown ups don't)
