What would work with them?

We ended up with a motley crew of fish and now I dont know what to do.

We have a Pearl Gourami, a Sunset Gourami, a Kribensis, and two Featherfin Squeaker Catfish. What would be compatible with this crew? Someone has already said at least one catfish must go, but can one stay?

Thanks.

How about some fish for the bottom?? Some ghost shrimp would be ok since they don't have much of a bio-load. I don't know much about catfish but don't they get big and a mean?? Don't pearl gouramias do too?? Lol i also have a 28, but mys bow front and SW.

both cats would have to go. They get up to 8" long a piece.

The gouramis make it much better for stocking your tank, the kribensis is all to be concerned about, but they're usually lazy and hang out near the bottom. You could try some danios (E.G. Zebra, Leopard, Gold...), or some tetras (E.G. lemon, black skirt, rummynose...). Maybe a couple of other peaceful cichlids like Rams.

I merged the two identical threads. It will be easier to keep track of all of the answers this way.

As far as stocking, watch the two gourami, they may fight with each other. Plants (either live or plastic) to break up line of sight in the tank may help with this.

I agree that the cats need more swimming room than that tank can offer.
Maybe a small school of cories for the bottom.
