Ideas flowing through my head

I dont know where else to put this thread so feel free to move it if you want. Alright, I was thinking that i should get a quarentine/hospital tank. So I figured that i might get one of those 2.5 mini-bow tanks for Tom, my betta. And use the 5 gal he is in right now for the tank. Would it be alright if I just put some ADF in the 5 gallon? just so its not empty taking up space? And would the ADFs be fine without gravel, or should they really have gravel? Thanks for the help!

i would cycle the 2.5 gal, and keep it cycled using ammonia, or put a snail or something in it. i wouldnt ut the betta in a smaller tank

What I do for a q/h tank is keep extra sponges in the filters of our tanks and then setup a tank when it's needed, using some sponges to bring it up to cycled.

Don't get anything smaller than 5gal for your Betta - they really need at least 5gal to be happy. Why not get another 5gal?
