Thanx. I put him back in the main tank last night and all seems well after he and my other oscar almost killed each other, bu they have kissed and made up.Woohoo!!!
Question: What does it mean when they vibrate their tails and ther body looks like it is having a fit??

Thats a threatening posture.. its a warning without the actual aggression.

Oh! ok. Thanx. When I checked up on them thismorning they were swimming together and looked like they were the best of friends, I am so happy!!

Glad to hear they are doing so much better after being together for a few days. When I added my new JD on friday, the original really chased the new one around a lot, so I know just what you were going through. My guy and gal have calmed down a lot too... though Jack still does chase Jill around from time to time, especially at meal time. They have done the wavy thing with their bodies and tails as well. My babies are only about three inches.
