anything else able to fit?

hey, i was wondering if i might be able to get a couple more fish or a ADF. I have a 10 gallon and the stock is as follows: 4 cherry barbs - 2 male 2 female, 1 bronze cory, 1 mystery snail, and some ghost shrimp (maybe, they might be all dead) 50 watt visitherm-stealth heater, 10-20 gallon Aqua-Tech filter 120 gph. I am willing to do more regular water changes becuase i know it will be necessary. So if you have any suggestions please share! thank you

I'm afraid you're overstocked as it is, especially with that big snail.

Even if you move the snail, 4 cherry barbs and 1 cory pretty well max out your 10 gallon to the limit.

Apple snails need a lot of food, and what goes in must come out, hence the mess. You can put him in the 5 gal, but make sure you do a lot of water changes and gravel vacs.

Maybe you want to look on Craigslist for a bigger tank! A 20 gallon high tank wouldn't take much more room. Then you could get more corys, since they do not like being alone.

Apple snails take up about 5gal each! You could put him in the Betta tank - but don't expect Betta to accept him.

Don't put him in the betta tank. Yesturday I was sucking up some algea wafer goo out of the bottom of Michael's tank that he shared with Dale the Snail. After 4 months of Michael and Dale living together I saw Michael sneak up on Dale attack and swim away munching on a piece of escargot tenticle. Dale is now in the 30 gal. that I am sure now is offically overstocked, and I am planning a mid-week water change.

My betta also tried to attack a snail in his tank, and I"m sure the snail would have been minus his atennae if I hadn't removed him.

But that's not saying bettas and snails can never live together. Caution is advised.
