uh-o more!!!

well the problem is that my fry tank is full to what i would like to be in there and three of my swordtails are knocked up and one of my guppies. should i just let them give birth in the tank and let them get eaten. i don't realy want to do this but i can't see any other option. any suggestions would be great.

I would say a little more parental supervision would go a long way!

let nature do its thing..nature is not cruel it's nature..let them eat them the smart ones will hide and survive..survival of the fittest. you might want to put either the males or the females in the fry tank for now till you got population undercontrol

not sure the size of your tank, but instead of a condom, you could buy a separator works wonders and they are way cheap

I think if the tank has a few hiding spots, the ones that you will be left with will be your healthiest fry, since all the bad ones will die or be eaten...

Then you have yourself a nice fish dinner. Just kidding... I think that it depends on how good your fish are at getting pregnant, and how many fish you have to eat the fry. My platies don't get preg. very much, and we usually end up with about 3 per batch when we're trying to catch 'em!
Try to release the fry ASAP so they can help with the crop thinning..

With livebearers, you really need a tank for the fry since you'll get so many.

None of the local shops take them? Do you have any aquarium clubs nearby that perhaps you could sell them at?
