There is quite a bit to shipping fish, I wouldn't try it yourself....but folks that do it all the time can ship safely....It entails lots of simple things like with holding food for a certain number of hours before shipment, a 1/3 water to 2/3 oxygen ratio ...some pump pure oxygen, or use tabs to help support the oxygen levels...or tank "buddies", but unless it is really stressful shipment I don't know if this is needed. Double bagging is a good idea, and tightly packed in a Styrofoam lined box. OVERNIGHT FED EX is important, even though it costs more it assures the fish are in foul water the least amount of time. Lastly, cold packs if it is summer, and heat packs in the winter must be used inside the boxes with the fish (not in the bag of course).....
The really important thing is to receive the fish and how the new owner takes care....another story. If you need info on this post again....
