How big is your tank? What filter do you have? Do you have an air stone in the tank? Do you have a picture of the foam on the surface? What are the water parameters and what do you use to condition your tap water?

My tank size is 6ft x 2ft x 1ft. I am using two power filters and air curtains too as u can see in the images. I do use water conditioner and its name is GARON and I also use DIAMOND CLEAN to clean my water.

I have not been able to test my water parameters as i stay in a very remote place and i can not get hold of the test kit, not even in whole of my nation. I have searched in many fish stores throughout my city and nation but to no avail.

I would be very glad if some one could send me a test kit like for donation.

By the way, i have been changing my water about 25% daily but the problem still persists.

Does the water have a foul smell? If it does really have a bad foul smell, increase your daily water change percentage to like 50%. If it's not really bad then just stick to your 25%. And perhaps you can check if any of the items that you put in the tank are suitable for suitable. But if your fishes are still doing fine and no sickness, then don't worry too much over the foam. Hope this helps a little.

Thanks for reply! The water does not have foul smell but my fish are dying. I had around 4 gold fish dead in the past one week. I just wonder why? I have not added anything recently in my aquarium. I am so confused!!!

Hi Kabir
How long has this tank been up and running? About the foam... do you think its possible that you have too much aeration going on in the tank?

sorry for the loss of your fish I would think its a combo of too much air and the products you use mite be your foam issue.....I cant find anything on the products you use ..even when i google it LOL ...if you try http://www.drsfostersmith.com/&ref=3...ies|1348280571 they have really reasonable test kits..the api master liquid test kit is the best!! it has everything you need...and having a tank, you really need to know your readings...goodluck

Thanks for the reply and suggestions! i guess i will have to reduce the aeration. My bad luck is that i can't purchase any product online cause my credit card and the laws of my country doesn't allow it. I just feel i am too unlucky. The products i use are made in Thailand and i don't have any other option besides using it! Bad Luck!
