I feed her nutrafin max flakes. I have read recently that you should vary their diet so I was going to try and get some different types.

Yea, if you can give her some foods that aren't dry, like thawed & peeled frozen peas or thawed, frozen bloodworms, that will be good for her diet too.

I've had a terrible morning, she was absolutely fine last night. When I checked her before leaving for work this morning she's hardly moving and laying in the plants, I tried to move her and she moved for about a minute and is back in the plants now. I think she's dying and I'm really not sure there's anything I can do. It seems silly getting upset but I've got attached to her, I've tried everything I can so am dreading popping home at lunchtime.

I'm sorry she's not doing well. It's not silly to be upset, we love our fish.
I don't really know what to suggust. I know you moved her to another tank, is this one cycled? Are you changing the water?

I've been checking the water daily, I've just done a water change just in case. I popped back at lunchtime and she's no better but she has weird poo which may be a sign of something. I'm not sure if it's too late.

It was stringy, I went back into the aquatic store as I'm so worried and they said the new tank may not have cycled enough so move her back over. This isn't working as she's not moving, she's lying on her back now. This is so upsetting

Yea, I get upset when any of ours are sick. I'm pretty sure she has parasites and needs a med like Parasite Clear or Clout. I'd do a 50% water change and start those, hopefully they'll work well for her.

The shops are shut now, I'm crying as I feel so helpless. She's laying on the bottom not moving now, not even her mouth or gills are moving and I think she's gone then she'll move a bit. This is horrible.

She's gone, thanks everyone for your help I'm just so sorry that there was nothing I could help her with.
Please can you give me advice as to whether I need to treat my other fish with anything as she was in contact with them, and also whether to empty and clean the new tank?

We're so sorry that you lost her.
For now, I'd probably hold off on meds and just do extra water changes maybe and get some anti-parasites meds, just in case. If you see ANY signs of something off with them, start treating them for parasites.
