What are some compatible tankmates for crayfish? I heard that it goes after smaller fish so u need to put in larger, aggressive fish but wont the larger ones get the crayfish when it molts?

My biology teacher has goldfish with his, but there is always a goldfish it a torn tail from the crayfish.

Were they fancy goldfish orsingle-tailed goldfish?

They are just regular 'feeder' golfish, he also tried to have shiners as well but the crayfish killed them.

IMO, crayfish are best kept as a single species.
