MTS and a newbie

I had a friend give me some guppies a few months ago. Now I have 10 gallon tank with guppies, a 2 gallon with 9 fry in it. I just set up another 10 gallon last night to cycle for the fry when they get older. OH OH it think I have MTS. Is there any help or cure? Or should I just celebrate and enjoy?

Mmhhhmmm

Well GuppyTeacher I have some grave news to tell you, You have been dignosed with an incurable disease commonly called MTS. This disease slowly overtakes your life forcing you to buy more and more and bigger and bigger fish tanks and spend all your time perfecting these tanks. There is no cure, or any way to control it. Dont worry though, you will still be accepted into many theroputic communitys, the most revered is called Fishlore. I am sorry, but you will never know it is happening. Most patients end up going batty and try to convince everyone that having gallons and gallons of water in glass boxes is totaly normal, many people inflicted even encourage others to have it as well. All patients are happy though, so dont fight it and just let it happen. I am sorry I can not help you.

I'd definitely setup another tank for the fry. You can expect more every month. and no.. there's not a cure for MTS..

Hey dont feel bad i now have 4 dedicated guppy tanks. My suggestion is to get a divider and sex your guppy fry as soon as you can seperate.

Yea, that's MTS.. It can also be malaysian trumpet snails, but mostly is the multiple tank syndrome.
