Can they be trusted? Im leaving on thursday night and wont be back till sunday evening. Im gonna head to the fish store and see what i can do in the way of keeping the fish fed while im gone.

I dont wanna come home to dead fish either by way of over feeding or not getting enough food..

Hmmm.. I did read they could go some time without food.. I just wasnt sure if it was good for them to do without for more then a day.

I skip 2 days every now and then, simply cause they are greedy eaters and will poop the tank up if I feed them regularly.

Tetra makes some round gel feeders that can be used, but I'd only go to those if you were looking at a trip longer than a week. I'd recommend a tank cleaning and partial water change on Wed. or Thurs. and a regular feeding right before you leave. Then a feeding when you get back Sunday.
