About a week and a half ago i bought a 10g so i can move some of my guppy fry. I put gravel from one of my other tanks in nylon in the tank to help seed it along with 50% new water 50% from another tank. Well it turns out i had a sick looking electric yellow lab female (cichlid) so i moved her into it to treat with melafix. I have since moved her back to her own tank and this weekend want to house the guppy fry in 10g. I did a 25% w/c to the 10g after i moved her out. My question is what do i have to do to get the tank ready for the fry? Im worried that they will not like the medicine. Will another 25% w/c work?

The fry were born around march 2-3. I have the 10g devidied so i can have males on one side females on the other. I need to get them out of their current tank because 1. im afraid they will mate soon and 2. i have a new batch of fry in there as well. Dont want to overstock.

You can clear it out with running carbon in the filter for a few hours.
