So far so good!

So I just wanted to update - so far I'm doing ok! After setting up my tank with Bio-Spira, over the course of three weeks I added (along with additional Bio-Spira); six cherry barbs, five yoyo loaches, two honey gouramis, and one BN pleco.

Since the last batch I added(the gouramis and the pleco) everything has been great! The water parameters are good, finally got the heat stabilized at a reasonable level, and all the fish are getting along great. The cherry barbs are super active and the gouramis have great little personalities. The pleco is still a bit shy - but there are lots of places for him to hide so I think he's doing ok. But the best by far are the loaches! I have five yoyos, and they have been a blast! I would recommend them to anyone looking for a fun little schooling fish. They're little troublemakers, always chasing each other around and exploring the tank, they've been lots of fun.

So I'm going to wait for these guys to grow up a bit before I add anyone else - and eventually I want to get a hood that can handle high-wattage lights so I can grow plants!

But for now I'm really having fun with it - thanks so much to everyone for all the information and advice offered here! You've all been invaluable!
