Can zebra danio and goldfish get along in a same aquarium

danios would prefer warm temperature regulated water. so while they may 'get along' i wouldn't put them together.

Danio are tropical and goldfish are cold water fish.
Therefore, the require different temperatures.

zebra danios are cool water fish that just happen to tolerate warm temperatures, just like white cloud minnows.

I personally don't think either one would look very nice with goldfish though. so I'm kind of suggesting to just keep it all goldfish for aesthetics.

I agree with Tavel, my danios live and breed at 68 degrees F. I once forgot to plug in the heater after a water change and the tank dropped to 58 with no signs of change in behaviour, something most true tropicals would not tolerate. In a big tank I would go for the goldfish , but in a small tank , I'd go for a group of danios ( especially the long fin gold type ) .

the last goldfish i had eat all 20 of my guppies in one day and i think that zebra dino and some guppies about the same shaped and size so i don't think they would get along
