i know someone else has asked this but i can't find that thread so can i use the reptile tanks for an aquarium? they have the same thickness of glass but im not sure if that would be ok. wat size tank would be the best to create a large community tank. i like the big community tanks o and if you know of a good place to buy a cheap good tank please let me know thanks

You can find some awesome deals on Craigslist. Just pick your geographic area. I've seen tank stands going for $20! It all depends on who is selling. If someone is moving they usually offer stuff for a pretty good (low) price. The only catch is that most people want cash and pick-up only. good luck! oh, I've also heard that Petco has a spring-time $1 per gallon tank sale. I'm not sure if they advertise it very much, it usually is only for a day or so, and it is only for what they have in stock but it might be worth looking into. I'm hoping to pick up a 75 gal this way

You'd want to clean it out really good with a 19 parts hot water, 1 part bleach solution.. rinse it out several times and do a heavy overdose of dechlorinator when you first fill it up.
