Im going to be filling my quaranteen tank i was gunna take water from my cycled tank and put it in the qt wil the bacteria die off if theirs no fish should i be putting in fish food ?'

yeah, bacteria need a food source of some kind.

There's only very, very small amounts of the good bacteria in the water. They colonize surfaces so that's where you'll find almost all of the bacteria. They have a 15 hour life cycle and adding fish food every 12 hours will feed them.
