Strange white creatures in the new tank

I'm new to freshwater tank. I just setup one during Xmas. I currently have 6 neon tetra and 6 serpae tetra, 3 live plants, and a few snails I guess came from the plants from the pet store. This week, I found there are 3 patches with 15-20 egg-like things on the inside wall. Each egg is about only 1mm big, transparent brownish color. I also noticed several tinny white worm like creatures (no more than 2-3 mm long, 0.1-0.2 mm wide, barely visible to naked eyes) on the glass wall. Does anyone know what they are? Some kind of parasites? Are they harmful to the fish or even people? How do I get rid of them?

Thanks in advance.

they are most likely planaria. not to worry, they are harmless to your fish and your fish will like to eat them! they too, probably hitched a ride on your plants. if they become a problem a gravel vac or two will get rid of them.

Welcome to Fishlore.

Yes, they sound like planaria with a VERY slight chance of being snails. I'd clear them and the snails out asap. A turkey baster can be used to suck them out, or a gravel cleaner.
