Lighting, I need help soon...

I am going to be out of town for two days, and I have a 12g nano cube freshwater tank with a lot of live plants. I do not have an automatic lighting timer, so while I'm gone- would it be better to leave the lights off or on. I am assuming "off", but any suggestions soon will be greatly appreciated.

Yea, off would be best. If there's ambient light during the day where the tank is, that would be great.

Zimbabwe, thanks for asking that question! I am leaving town in a week and I completely forgot about the issue of the lights. Now I will be sure to leave them off
