Adding fish?

Alright I have about a week and a half before my tank completely cycles (29g) I have it set up and everything. I am going to get 2 female pearl gouramis 1 bristlenose pleoco, and 6 neon tetras. I need some help on deciding what fish to add first and how long before I add the others, any suggestions are much appreciated.

I'd add the BN pleco, then the neons and lastly the gourami. If possible, at least 3 or 4 days between additions, but a week would be better.

thanks I really needed some outside guidance on this one, and when you say neons do you mean all six of them at once? this question also goes for the gouramis.

You can add all the neons at once and I want to say that you should add the gouramis one at a time but I dont know how territorial they are. well have to wait as dee what others say

You could add all 6 at once or add 3 at a time. If you add all 6, keep a closer eye on the water chemistry to be sure they don't trigger any spikes.

I'll be sure to keep a close eye on whater chem. as I add probably once a day until a week or two after they're all in.

Hi!

Dave - you took the words right out of my mouth! I'll second that idea.

Hi!

Look in my 'Aquarium info' tab, above my avatar. Just hover over it to read.

I noticed you have a really high pH, is it your preference or just the tap water where you live.

Hi!

Just my tapwater. All my fish do fine, though. It is a little odd, I have a large piece of wood in my 47gal... And the water is tannin-stained.

Oh yeah - and if you want to get one of those Aquarium info tabs, go into 'My settings' and click 'Edit aquarium info'. I find mine really useful, and leaves some sig space!

I noticed how people usually post all their tank info in their sigs, I don't mind. Do you know how to veiw a person's gallery without finding it in a forum thread?
