Tank Decoration

Hi, I have a 10 gallon I am going to set up and I bought some of the lok rocks for decoration. Has anyone used these? The edges seem kind of sharp to me, I was wondering if they will be ok in the tank. Thanks!

If they feel too sharp, you can take a fine emory board, using the buffer side, and smooth the sharpness down a little...

Good luck setting up your tank!

Happy fishkeeping!

Hi Twinz glad you are here! I've seen those in stores they look cool. I have used a fine sandpaper on anything going in my tank that had rough edges. And you don't say what fish you are planning, but 10g are great for bettas, and if you did a betta, you want to be careful on what goes in with sharp areas. Some betta folks use hamster toys in their tanks. The smaller fish, neons, zebras, are usually ok with most decor. Good luck with your plans, and be sure to get help from the forum with any questions as they arise!
