i would guess the angels...if not them, second guess would be the loach
he might have injured himself while he was playing w/ the other corys

can you post a picture of the silver tail loach? Never seen one and can't find any references to it.

Its like a clown loach but silver...with a black stripe across the end of its.."bum" just before the end fin starts....and i have seen it chase the corys...but the angels are very aggressive.....

I know there only fish but it really bothers me knowing that it might be in pain etc..

I can't figure out which Loach it might be or that would be that aggressive. I would definately remove the injured cory until you can resolve the problem.

Is this your loach?

I doubt that it was the loach, doesn't seem like a loach thing to do. Could be wrong though.

Do you have any sharp decorations that could have caused this? If not then my best bet would be the angelfish. What size tank is this?

Yea, my two loaches shoal with the corys, and seem to be fine around them. The only squabbles I see is when they're all trying to get at a sunken pellet/wafer, but more often than not they're fighting off the platys rather than each other. I'd suspect one of the angels, too.

I think the Angels are the cause. Do you have a male & female pair or 2 of one gender? Do they show signs of mating or of buddying up? If so, the other fish in the tank are at risk of being given the same treatment.
