Black Out

Ok so there was a black out in my house and all the tank equipment was down...i wasnt home but once i got there everything was off....i had to quickly leave because i had to go somewhere and i dont know how long it stayed off...but its on now...what im worring about is the bacteria in the filter media...could they all have died off in that period of time??

if the sponge stayed wet during the black out, the good bacteria should be in it. the good bacteria in the gravel would be there too since it never got dry.
