I have a bit of an ammonia problem I'm getting under control, and have been changing the water a few times. I just bought prime today (having heard it is a very good product). Is it ok to use this along with amquel+, or should I only use one?

Hello I'm new at this 2 i have used amquel+ in my big tank on Friday and it worked really well but i don't think i would used both of them at the same time surly you would overdose

yep - you really only need to use one. i think prime is better personally, but if i had both, i'd use up the amquel and then start using the prime (just so it wasn't wasted)

Prime does do more than Amquel+ (and IMHO smells better ) but either product will help with controlling the ammonia problem while you find and eliminate the cause of the ammonia.
