you'll definitely not run short of fry for a while if you keep them from being eaten.

Oh no, there is no shortage to be seen in the near future. I lookes like my other mickey moue is pregnant too . And it looks like one of the mollies is getting fatter so i actually think i have three females and one male. That might be fun. hehe

Interesting. It's a bit early to plan it, but it looks like we'll be planning a x-county journey at the start of 2008. A bit more than 10 hours, and in the middle of winter with a very spoiled betta. Interesting tips here - we'll have to see what we can come up with.

yea, we are possibly moving from Florida to Colorado with 7 platys (4 of them adolescent), 7 betta splendens, 2 betta mahachai & 11 betta mahachai fry that will be 3 weeks old tommorrow. we've picked up a lot of great help on what to do here.

wow- that's going to be some serious culture shock for you and the fishies!

Well, I guess we'll see who goes first and how they make it through the multi journey!

lol.. well my wife grew up there and i lived there a few years.. it's a different culture for sure.. and the planning is ongoing for the best way to transport them and minimize stress.
