this sounds like me!!! you have to carry on with the kids no matter how much they tantrum and you pull your hair out!! i feel like that with my tanks! my 50% daily (or twice daily) water changes to both tanks is exhausting (like getting up to do night feeds with babies), but you cant give up either!!
Vin.......glad to know there's light at the end of the tunnel!! i thought i'd got there, but now i seem to have swung back round to square one!!! its a long process, and you sound like me with the impatience thing!!!! i want instant quick fixes, and often hit every chemical going, before sitting back and actually thinking about it and realising all it did was cost more time and money!!!!!!!!!!
glad to hear you've graduated the cycle!!!!!!!!!! also reassuring to know i thought i had probelms with 0.25 ammonia and i thought my fish would die.......to hear yours survived 4 and bred too is very reasuring!!!
