I have some bulbs in my 2.5 g tank (which has a betta and a mystery snail inside) and they are blooming. So... would it be okay if I moved them to my 10g tank, which has nothing in it but gravel and decorations?

yes, just keep the plant in water using a container to move it. Shouldn't be a problem either way, but the container outta keep it from dripping from 1 tank to another.

No problem transplanting and as long as you're not going to travel a long distance to do it (i.e. across town) then keeping it in water isn't necessary.

depending on how long you leave the plants out, they can dry out. i've had that happen even just going across a room, but then i was also redesigning so the plants didn't go back in right away

Yea, they can dry out in not too long a time and I should've been more clear - keeping the plant in water is what you do if you're going to have it out a while, move it a long ways or have eggs to move. It does make it easier to not break certain plants on accident too. If it's a short distance, then the container doesn't necessarily need water but can catch the plant's drips along the way.
