i have about 12 baby moliles they're about half inch and they all look like female to me, is that possible that you get all females or its too early in the stage to tell its sex

I think it's too early still to determine. We have platy fry and still they all appear to be female.

I'd say after about 6-8 months you should start seeing some kind of anal-fin development that will help you determine females from males.. the anal-fin on Mollies ( and several other live-bearers) is underneath the fish.. if it's fan shaped, that's a female.. if it's not fan shaped, and kind of skinny and pointy, that's a male.. hope that helps.
