one question I have, I have read that mollies like aquarium salt. I have three mollies, and also 3 Giant danios, how will the danios react to the salt if I were to put it in the tank??

Mollys that have been caught in the wild need some salt in their tanks, but most Mollys bought in the usual lfs are raised and kept in freshwater so there isn't any need to add it to your tank. If you want to try it anyway keep an eye on them. as for the danios I don't think they would like it.

Yup.. Carol pretty much nailed it.. what I can add is store-bought Mollies don't really need salt unless they're sick.. in a case like that, the salt would act as a booster along with whatever medication is being used, to help get them healthy again.
