babies

Okay, I'm a new fish owner. I got the tank from my neighbor who is moving. I have 8 swordtails (3 male, 5 female), 2 plecos, 2 silver dollars, 7 assorted tetras, and 1 male guppy. My question is this: We are wanting to get 2 more guppies, probably female, but we don't have room for the babies. What fish will eat the babies, or what can I do to keep them from over-populating the tank, without buying a breeder box. Thanks

Re: babies

The pleco's and tetra wont eat the fry but the others will. If you wanna keep the babies I recommend this.

This would be the only thing I can reccomend. You can also buy a 10 gal tank and have the babies in that

Re: babies

if u do not want guppy fries then instead of buying 2 female guppies u can buy 2 male guppies..... i mean male guppies r more beautiful than females. it will be fine if u keep all male guppies in a tank.
however parent guppies will eat their fries anyway.
