Feeding Question

I just got my three cories the other day. I've been trying to make sure they get a varied diet so I've been feeding them a mix of veggie based flakes, algea wafers, and shrimp pellets, all of which they gobble right up. I do have one concern, once the shrimp pellets get a little water logged they poof up and when the cories actually find them a little mushroom cloud of food particles goes up. Some of it settles on the bottom and some goes in the filter. I'm worried about excess food building up in the tank. Is this just something that comes with using the pellets or is the some way to try and prevent this? Also, I'm hoping that once I get the rest of the fish in the tank that the cories will be able to scavenge a little more and the pellets would be used less often. Thanks!

Re: Feeding Question

For now two pellets once a day. I give them an algae wafer in the evening. Trying not to overfeed
