Cichlid Tank

Im currently setting up a 35 Gallon tank for Cichlids....

Could you tell me what kind of small cichlids would mix well in this tank?

Other information would be greatly appreicated e.g types of rock (Texas holey rock?) and plants etc

Thanks

Re: Cichlid Tank

You could add rams and lemon cichlids.

I have Cichlids in my tank, love their aggressiveness...If you want entertainment Black Convicts are great ( I believe South American); I got lucky- a male and a female, which they have spawned already, but they ate their young. I also have Africans-Red Zebras, etc. They were all very small when purchased about 3/4" and are all now about 3"+. The convicts don't seem to hassle the Africans, just each other. It's fun to watch them all come up to eat...I don't think they would ever stop if I kept adding food. I Googled Cichlids and learned a considerable amount that way.

Good Luck - Greg
