Re: Man Ohh Man...

Its not the size of the tank its the motion in the erm.... tank.
maybe i shouldnt have posted! lol.

i think alot of people tend to go for bigger tanks as they are that much more stable?

Re: Man Ohh Man...

Welcome to FishLore! It's great to have you with us! Please click on the link in my signature "FishLore Articles for Beginners" to help get you started. Bigger tanks are easier to maintain. Cycling and maintaining a 2.5 gal. is quite a challenge because you are so limited on what you have to work with. The bigger the tank, the more water you have to keep everything stablized. Small tanks can go downhill quickly, and you usually have less time to know something is wrong before you can do anything about it. Getting a much larger tank is a great idea. A 20 gal. long is a really great size tank to have!

Re: Man Ohh Man...

Smaller tanks can also be quite awesome with the a little bit of planning and extra care. It sounds like you are already getting hooked on the hobby! We call that illness MTS (multiple tank syndrome). Don't even think we are gonna try and cure you!
