Hello all!
I am a college student and I have been a
betta enthusiast for 3 years now. I currently have a small tank for my betta (who is a spoiled brat :P). However, recently I have been looking into getting a larger 10 gallon tank for my baby, but I would think this would be too lonely for such a small fish, so I would like to get him some tank mates. I have done a little research on this, but I can't find any information on how many fish is too many. The way I'm looking at it now is along with a few live plants, getting a bottom feeder: a bristlenose pleco, or perhaps a corydora...or perhaps even a snail?; and a school of 4 neon tetras. But I worry if that's too many fish for a tank. I'm very diligent about cleaning tanks, but I've never had anything except a betta, so I have no idea. Would anyone please help me out?
