My 55g is all cleaned up and set up for a re cycle. its really good looking i'm gonna get pictures up soon. As Stocking Goes i m still thinking alot about what to put in. I'm know for a fact i want Rams and a red tail shark. I wanted to get some schooling fish, anyone got any bright ideas? Tiger barbs are a maybe, i hear dread stories about them. So post up any info on what would go with them. Your help has greatly effected my tank!

With a Red-tailed Shark and Tiger Barbs you would be on the way to an Aggressive Tank. Are you sure you want to limit yourself to having that many aggressive fish? They do kind of limit the smaller fish when you have quite a few aggressives as the more crowded the aggressive fish are the worse their behavior is.

You will have 55 gallons and Rams and the Red-tail are a good start. Have you considered Rasboras, Danios, or one of the other Barbs ~ there are a lot of species of Barbs not just the Tigers? Some of them are not as aggressive as the Tigers.

Yeah Rams and a red tail are defs.
I just want some attractive fish that would all work together, the care of the fish is whats important no the looks.
