Help bacteria bloom

I have extremely cloudy water and i was wondering if a water change would be a good thing to do to help but would it slow down my tank from cycling? Ammonia 0 nitrite 2.0. Did a water change Dec 6. Thanks

Please refresh my memory

do you have fish in the tank?
If not I would just leave it alone and let the bacteria grow.
If there are fish in the tank with a Nitrite reading that high I wold do a small water change.
