I bought a crayfish a couple of days ago, i have him in a 10 gall tank at the moment, no heater as was told by the lfs, but a filter is running, do i need an airstone for any extra air? the water is about 3 inches from the top and he can get out of the water and sit on a stone, also he has a small pot to hide in, i am going to get my 20 gall tank up and running and put him in there in a few days, i also have a 55 gall with an Oscar, and 46 gall with community fish, cant put him in there for i wont have any fish left lol, any advie on keeping these creatures would be appreciated.. thanks.

There masters of escape, keep a TIGHTLY CLOSED tank at all times, and keep an area for him to shed. Good Luck

Yes i have found that out, he does try to escape but the tank hood shuts very tightly so i hope its ok. He likes to sit on top of the flower pot and chill, any advice on feeding? i looked on web sites, saw that they like vegs , worms and crickets, also cat buiscuits.. but he wont eat those, thnaks for quick reply
