So I have a small group of guppies and another group of
neon tetra's. As is common for their behavior, the guppies spend time at/near the top and the tetra's at/near the bottom. My concern is making sure the tetra's get enough food. I'm feeding my fish flakes and they mostly sit on the surface. The tetra will not go higher than the middle-point of the tank, so they only get what falls near the bottom. Also, it seems that once food hits the bottom, the tetra dont see it on the gravel. So they have to be in the right place, at the right time when it's on its way down.
My concern is that much of the food is consumed at the surface by the guppies. A few small pieces get to the tetra's but not much. Do you guys have any special food, or special feeding procedures you guys do for your fish that live life near the gravel?
