Not ready to be a grandma!!!!

I wish I could write this forum with comments not questions all the time bur here I go... I want to say that I am happy for the cute new arrives but did not want to do this already.

I had 8 fish, 3 red dalmation mollies, 3 big belly mollies, and 2 dalmation mollies (black and white). I now have the same of the first two but only one dalmation molly and at least 15 babies. I don't know what to do. I made a point at the store to get the same sex of all fish ( reds are males, big bellys are females and dalmations were supposed to be females). I saw no difference in size or fin shape from the sexes. Now one of my reds is much smaller about half the size of the other two and I have no idea how I got babies. I'm pretty sure they are from the female molly that I just lost, but am not sure why she would have died after. any help would be awesome. I need to seperate the babies once they are bigger to make sure that I don't have millions! I found this and want to make sure this is right.
