| Re: Making Big Fish..Small Nature is what it is. If you house, lets say, on oscar, in a 10-gallon tank its entire life it won't get too big. It will stunt. This is where the "it will only grow to the size of the aquarium" myth comes from. Even though you'll have a fish that in the wild gets very big stay relatively small, you'll also have an unhealthy fish that will not come close to living its full lifespan. I always say that if you want to be a responsible pet and/or simply fish owner, you provide exactly what the critter needs to not only survive but to thrive. :-) |
