Re: Dual Betta Hex with Gravel and Plant by Lee's

How many gallons is it, and is it/can it be filtered and heated?

Re: Dual Betta Hex with Gravel and Plant by Lee's

If you intend to keep 2 bettas in this tank and it is less than 10 gallons in size with the capability of be heated and filtered you are wasting your money as your bettas will not live long without a great deal of care and will not be happy and healthy.* It will be like asking them to live in a sewer with their ammonia waste and other waste building up and no way to be rid of it without daily water changes which may or may not be adequate.* They are also not supposed to be in a tank where they can constantly see each other as it will stress them as they will be constantly flaring at each other which is very bad for their systems especially their hearts.* They should not be allowed to flare for more than 10 minutes at a time and this will be too possible with no more barrier than they will have in this type of tank.

Now with that information you can make your decision.* Thank you for asking before you buy.*

Just for reference before you buy any Tropical fish, Please read the following:* (Bettas are Tropical fish)
