Can you trade in fish?

Basically I want to know if your fish gets too big or the one you have is too aggressive for example can you trade it in at the pet store or sell it to them. What do you do? Can you just phone them and ask them whether they want to buy it off you or trade it in at their store?

Yep thats what you do. Alot of the fish stores in the US do that but don't know about Australia. Just have to ask.
