Hello,
New to the hole fish thing, i have a 160Lt tank, with around 35 fish,
(around 25 neons) 2 angles, 2 mollies, 6 guppies, 2 turquoise rainbow, 2 albino bottom feeder(little white ones)
2 rummy nose(1 is sick with looks to be fungus growing on it which i am treating ATM)
1 rainbow shark 1 black widow

sitting at 25.c

i was told to clean my tank each week, but after cleaning the bottom of the tank with a vacuum. was told i shouldn't do that as the tank is new (around 8 days) i have now cleaned the good bacteria away from the tank, the nitrite level is .5ppm Ph is 6.9-7.0

is there any tips on helping me cycle the tank,Keep the fish healthy and also stop the tank for smelling.

i feed them with flakes,Live shrimp, frozen bloodworms, and bottom pallets of shrimp,

It sounds like you already know about cycling so that's a good thing. If you need to do more reading, click on my sticky here in the beginners forum called FishLore Articles for Beginners. There's some good stuff there if you haven't already read them.

Quite a few of your fish are not the most hardy fish to cycle with, so expect casualties, especially the neons and rummy nose tetras. Your cycle is going to take a lot longer because of the fish. My suggestion is to cut back on the feeding, and only feed what they can eat in 3 minutes, and only feed once a day. You will also probably have to do daily water changes to keep the nitrite and ammonia levels down enough for your fish to survive. I would not let the nitrites get above .5, maybe even less. Don't vacuum your gravel for awhile. If it gets to the point of really needing it, then only do half of the tank at a time.

i dont have much of an idea about the cycling. i was told many things before hand, and i got worried and completey changed my water 3 times (in my smaller tank, 20-28lts) which i know what wrong now, im keeping a close eye on the fish, almost 24hour watch for the next few days with a test every few hours, and keeping food too almost none while i can.
i have put the red nose in the smaller tank (using the big tanks water) but it has a rather large fugus growing on it which im treating now, but it doesnt look good at all

i dont want any of my fish to die, even the noens,. if they get eaten by the angles that is fine but i do not wish to loose any if i can prevent it.

i do belive i over feed them as i get the "oh they look hungry" feeling all the time which i know is only doing harm rather then good so i will learn to stop that now.

is there a chance the red nose will even make it? i am treating it with "Pimafix"
in the smaller tank.

I've heard Primafix works best when you use Melafix with it and vice versa (correct me if I'm wrong), so you may want to get some Melafix too, it may help.
