would angelfish get along with a featherfin syno? the syno I have is only about 3inches and I plan on getting rid of him when he gets to big (I am just keeping him for a friend).

I want to put some spotted angelfish in my 40gal tank but I am not sure if they will get along with my current inhabitants. I have an upsidedown catfish, a mollie, a golden barb (I can put him in a diff tank), 2 plecos, and a few lake minows.

Butterfly

The Featherfin Syno(synodontis eupterus) will be fine with the angelfish but not the plecos. they tend to claim the bottom as their own. The featherfin is a gorgeous fish but will eventually need a larger tank as you said. Check this out
